Queries Re-Opening!


Yes, it’s official.  I will be re-opening queries on February 13th!  This is a bit later than I originally said and I apologize for any confusion this has caused.  January shaped up to be a very different month than I thought it was going to, so I need a bit more time to get things in order.

I truly appreciate everyone’s patience and interest in querying me, and am looking forward to the 13th!

    Hi! Two questions:

    1. Is there an auto "received" email we should receive once we sub?

    2. And should we follow the agency's policy of resubbing if we haven't received a response in a month or so? Thanks!

    Yes, you should receive an auto received note when you query. Please do resend if you don't hear within a month.

    I queried after you opened last month and didn't get a response, so I requeried yesterday. I still didn't receive an auto received note. Hope it got through. I'd invest in carrier pigeons, but birds are kind of creepy. :)

    Susan and Laura - if it matters, I had the same issue with the auto reply (didn't get one).
    And I agree, pigeons are kind of creepy. :)

    I sent a query in March and followed up in April, as requested on your website. I didn't get an auto response for either, so I'm wondering if it got to you.

    Should I send it again or from a different e-mail? I don't want to give up on you too easily. :)
